The tv keeps telling me a storm is coming. I love storms. It aggravates me when the weather forecast is wrong.
I'm reading HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY by Richard Llewellyn. It is slow going, it makes me sad. I read it years ago and have read bits and pieces of it for years. My mother was always quoting her favorite parts. Then we would weep.

That's such a sweet memory!
Alice, I have an old book of my mothers. It is called A girl of the Limberlost and was written by Gene Stratton-Porter. My Mom loved this book. I can't bring myself to read it yet. I read it when I was a child, simply because she loved it. She loved the classic movies. We would watch those together, including How Green was my Valley. Your post brought back a lot of memories. God Bless.
Hi Alice,
I need to know what blog you are going to be posting the photos of your studio for the party. Is it this one??

I love how literature, just a bunch of words stuck together really, can bring out such emotions and memories in us. It's one of the joys of reading.
